If you are a young white man in America you have heard it before. Well, in truth, you have heard it all your life. You, as a white man (especially if you are not gay), are the embodiment of all sin. You get it daily from the media, and we even have major political figures that are “anti-white man”.
Now it’s true that you may not have even been aware of your devilishness (or even your whiteness for that matter!), but it is shoved in your face on a daily basis. You may have never treated a black person in a racist manner but you are still guilty because of the SYSTEM OF WHITE PRIVILEDGE!
After you have been bullied into being sorry for the sin of being white, you have to “engage the conversation”. Oh yes, this is something we “need to talk about”. We need “a social conversation”.
Of course when I speak of having a conversation I mean you may only contribute by saying “we’re not worthy” while flogging yourself. Then you need to vote for politicians with Marxist leanings because we will only have racial reconciliation when white men give their stuff to black people.
On top of all of this, the young Christian white man looks to his popular evangelical leaders and witnesses their capitulation to this social justice nonsense.
Enter the Alt-Right…
And people are mystified at the phenomenal growth of the Alt-Right (white nationalism). You can be as sharp as a bowling ball and figure this one out.
What I’ve written above is the perception of many young white men and they are getting quite sick of it and the only group that seems to identify with them are the white nationalists. Even if they don’t want their first identity to be along racial lines, this culture just will not allow them that. “If I’ve got to be whitey, then I suppose I better join the group that has whitey’s back”…or so it goes.
EVERYTHING I HAVE WRITTEN ABOVE THIS LINE IS THE WORLD!
Don’t be deceived my brothers in Christ. Whether it is the Critical Race Theory of the social justice Marxists or the white nationalist response to it, none of this is a Biblical response to the issues of our time.
God calls us to come out of the world and be a separate people.
I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people.
—Leviticus 20:24
He has called us from all tribes and kindreds and nations.
…there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
—Colossians 3:11
He calls us to be one.
Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
—John 17:11b
Now I realize there is much to consider regarding race relations in our day, but this is where we start.
Excellent. Well put sir and I agree with 100% of you post.
Yes we are separate, by our faith.
Race, social standing, or male female, has no determinants when it comes to salvation.
And yes, we are all saved under one Lord, therefore we (the saved) are one people.
I underline these points, so that there is no confusion, as those passages do not include non believers. But the Church being the light on a lamp stand, should have a coherent attitude towards race, inside the Church.
Tell that to Piper and the other race pimps!
Great article. Maybe you can submit it to the Social Gospel Coalition.
